NoPa Victorian

2022 • San Francisco, California

This transformed San Francisco Victorian seamlessly fuses elegance and vitality, reflecting the designer’s passion for entertaining and connection. Once cramped and compartmentalized, the redesign removed walls, integrated hidden structural beams, and welcomed natural eastern light, creating a vibrant, open heart of the home.

The design balances the stately grace of a San Francisco Victorian with the untamed energy of the jungle, drawing inspiration from Bollywood cinema, the desert, and vintage Americana. The result is a dynamic, layered space alive with color, texture, and history.

Key elements include a brass-inlaid marble backsplash, waterfall countertops, and a striking vintage 1970s Murano Glass Triedri chandelier. A custom oak bookshelf adds structure and depth, framing vibrant vignettes that amplify the home’s bold, refined character.
